NASAP Annual Conference
Educational and interest sessions ,speakers, business meeting, awards luncheon
,and opportunities to meet, network, and collaborate with NASAP colleagues.

Mid-Year conference
Energizes professional skills, interests, and interactive sessions taught with a
blend of theory and practice by experienced NASAP professionals.

Student Leadership Institute
SLI is an intensive interactive and stimulating program.It is a 7 day program
designed for newly elected HBCU student leaders who are committed to uplifting
their organizations and universities.

Black Greek Summit
The National Summit serves as a forum for professional growth and development
for all who are involved in or work with Black Greek-Letter organizations. This
National Summit offers a diverse array of programs that stimulate thought,
discussion, and ideas to become useful tools at colleges and universities.

NASAP Journal
The NASAP Journal Is published annually provides a forum for sharing innovations
in practice. Provides information on research and current issues .

NASAP Newsletter
The NASAP Newsletter is published four times annually,provides information
regarding: NASAP sponsored events; NASAP business; accomplishments of
members; and issues facing Student Affairs professionals.

Professional Awards
Sadie M. Yancey Award
Established to honor the first president and former Dean of Women who was
instrumental in the development and growth of the Association, formerly known as
the National Association of Student Personnel Workers (NAPW). This is the highest
honor that a member can receive from NASAP. The award recognizes outstanding
service, contributions to the field of student affairs generally, and to NASAP in
particular.

Benjamin L. Perry, Jr. Professional Award
Established in honor of the late Dr. Benjamin L. Perry, Jr., a founding member and
former President of NASAP for members with great potential to contribute to the
student affairs profession, having been employed in student affairs a minimum of
five (5) years.

Student Awards
Outstanding Graduate Student Award
To recognize the contributions made by a graduate student to the Association or to
the field of student affairs.

Outstanding Student Leader Award
Presented to an undergraduate student with demonstrated efforts in promoting
student autonomy, effectiveness in leadership and acknowledged responsibility to
elected or appointed positions of responsibility at a member institution.
