Reporting to the assistant dean of marketing, recruitment and student services, the senior
admissions director serves as the chief sales executive for the school and the key person
responsible for student recruitment and sales management for admissions. The senior
director of admissions is responsible for developing and managing the school's admissions
and recruiting plans and processes and delivering entering classes as per the goals set
forth by the dean's office.
Experience: A minimum of 10 years of managerial experience in an academic admissions
office or related academic setting required.
1. Proven ability in leading and supporting a staff in a high-paced, service-oriented
environment is essential.
2. Exceptional communication and presentation skills, both oral and written are required.
3. Proven ability to deal effectively with highly trained professional students is expected.
4. Proven ability to work effectively with faculty and academic staff in a competitive and
time-sensitive environment is required.
5. Must have strong analytical skills with the ability to understand and interpret data.
6. Experience with automated application processing systems, web-based information
systems, and database management is preferred.
7. Superior organizational and problem resolution skills.
8. Strong expertise with MS Office as well as field related hardware and software packages
and systems for reporting features.
General office working environment. Some travel is required.
